Message	oil pan was bare metal after I got it hot tanked by the machine shop to remove debris from the spun rod bearing. I think the stock inside of the oil pan is of a similar type of coating. Ever cook with teflon coated skillets and pour oil on it. The oil just slides off easier than bare uncoated pan.
